Water Heater Program

If you qualify for this program, MWEC will supply, at no cost to you, an electric water heater as a replacement for your failed water heater. MWEC will supply, install and maintain the load management control devices, however the installation of the actual water heater is your responsibility.

Read the following to see if you qualify for a FREE electric water heater.

You must be a MWEC member.

Your existing water heater must have failed to the point where repairs are no longer practical.

You must sign an agreement to stay under load management control for at least five years.

The controlled water heater must be your primary source of hot water.

 The minium tank size to be controlled is 40 gallons.
