2024 MWEC-BEPC Scholarship Winners

Brooke Vachal

Brooke Vachal
$2000 Winner

Brooke is a senior at Tioga High School and plans to attend North Dakota State University,  majoring in Agriculture.  Her long-term goals include becoming a successful farmer and rancher by practicing sustainable farming and ranching techniques, prioritizing animal welfare, optimizing land and livestock management and contributing to the understanding of agriculture.
Brooke is the daughter of Colin and Susan Vachal of White Earth.

Nikki Bristow

Nikki Bristow
$1500 Winner

Nikki is a senior at Williston High School and plans to attend North Dakota State University,  majoring in Radiologic Sciences with a double minor in Biology and French.  Her long-term goals include becoming a diagnostic radiologist and returning to the Williams County area using those skills to better serve the community so patients do not have to travel so far for care.
Nikki is the daughter of Calop ‘CJ’ and Kelly Bristow of Williston.

Lane Vachal

Lane is a senior at Stanley High School and plans to attend Bismarck State College, majoring in Agronomy with a minor in Farm & Ranch Management.  His long-term goals include returning to the Stanley area to help the local community learn more about their crops and what is need to help their agriculture production as well as grow his family heard as a fourth generation rancher.
Lane is the son of Marck and Melissa Vachal of Ross.
